Day wise itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival at Srinagar
Day 2 : Srinagar – Naranag – Domail (2 hrs drive/ 1 hrs trek).
- From Srinagar, you’ll start your journey towards Naranag, which is approximately 50 kilometers away.
- The drive will take you through scenic landscapes, and you’ll get a taste of the natural beauty of the region.
- Once you reach Naranag, you can rest and prepare for the trek ahead.
- Load your supplies and gear onto horses if needed, as you’ll be trekking through some challenging terrain.
- The trail initially follows a river, taking you through dense pine forests.
- Enjoy the serene and peaceful surroundings as you make your way towards Domail.
- Domail is known for its beautiful confluence of two streams.
- Camp at Domail for the night, where you can set up tents and enjoy a campfire
Day 3 : Domail – Marchoi (5 hrs trek).
- After a peaceful night’s rest at Domail, you’ll have a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the day’s trek.
- Pack up your camping gear and load any supplies onto your horses.
- Resume your journey through the enchanting pine forests, with the soothing sound of the incoming stream accompanying you along the way.
- The trail might involve some elevation gain as you ascend through the forested terrain.
- Keep an eye out for the diverse flora and fauna that thrive in this region, and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.
Day 4 : Marchoi – Naranag. (6 hrs trek) – Sringar (2 hrs drive).
Day 5 : Srinagar – Departure
